Cannerd's CK Reversal Appeal

What was the staff member's name?: Payne and Ghost

What is your in-game name?: At the time: Praetorian Imbecilius | Current: Praetorian Vet. Nocturnis

Exact time this incident happened?: 5/16/25 12:56 PM

Please describe the incident: I was looting and then got mes'd by a nightkin. They took me to NCR base and told them that they think I have NCR armor on the BM. Then they took me to Nipton put me in a staff call and BM checked me. Then took me back to NCR base than to ranger bunks. They told me either give them my ballistic fist or get ck'd (shown in clip). I chose to get ck'd instead of giving them a ballistic. The reason they used to approve this CK was "2. Defection and Sale of Faction Branded Item(s):". Even though I never played or defected NCR on that character so there was no possible way for me to defect, it was mugged off of players. Even if they tried to use the reason "1. Possession of Faction Branded Item(s):", I told them that I would hand the armor back to NCR (shown in screen shot). I never once sold NCR armor, I only put it on BM.

Please provide any evidence or proof of the incidenthttps://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/kiDfIIciKkwMSuQqL?invite=cr-MSxDMUYsMTY0MzUzOTM4

Huh? That's... semantics...

I always thought the rule was that listing the armor on the BM or otherwise attempting to sell it was considered an attempt to sell under the rules, which made it so that you were CKable as an attempt to sell (specifically/now especially via the BM) was, for the purposes of the rules, selling the armor? The rules haven't been updated in some time and even have some conflicting rules in them, but I know for sure I have CKed and seen CKs occur on people who list branded gear on the BM.

From what the rules state its CKable if you defect from the faction that the item is branded to and list it on BM.

Over my many years on falloutrp, the "and" in this rule is meant to, incorrectly, mean "or". So defection and sale are BOTH ckable reasons, when it really should just be worded as defection or sale.
