I had to do some research to get an actual reason from SC, but now that I have several explanations, I decided to address each one individually so I can be as transparent as possible and set the record straight.

I would also like to thank and apologize to those few helpful staff members that risked their own reputation by questioning my ban. It means a hell of a lot to me and even though I know it's gmod, many of you have built genuine friendships on this game that you put at risk for me.

1. The gambling table incident.
Around 2 or 3 wipes ago (about a year ago now), I was informed by my friend BigMonkey that there were gambling tables spawned within the unlocked Vault by staff (I presume Garrus spawned them, however, I am not sure if it was him). Me and BigMonkey proceeded to use them, thinking perhaps Vault Tec was going to be getting a Casino, instead we soon realized these wheels had a 100% win rate with a guaranteed minimum win of 50k all the way up to 2 million (which was all unlogged). I immediately stopped using them after my third spin upon realizing this, however I had already made around 6 million caps. My friend who had made quite a bit more than me, decided it'd be best to go to staff and report the issue. He was awarded with a unique item and thanked for reporting it. On the other hand, I made the wrong decision. I assumed since staff were already aware of the issue, they'd figure out I did it and remove my caps, but there was a greedy part of me that also believed they would never find out. So I held onto the caps, and they never knew I used them. This was wrong, and I apologize to both staff and players that were effected by my harmful actions toward the server economy.

2. Player poaching.
A few months ago, there was a time when Divide looked like it would never be back up, I said a lot of stupid things during that time. One of these stupid things included me mentioning in a casual conversation that "Divide is dead, all the players are leaving to (insert generic SWRP server here) and (insert incursion copy paste server here)". If I recall correctly this conversation is ultimately led to my original ban from the Divide Discord. I never sent any invites, I never told people to join those servers, but what I said was still both immature and stupid of me to do. I would once again like to apologize for acting this way toward the community that I genuinely enjoy. I was being extremely pessimistic for no reason and putting way too much stake in a gmod server.

3. Banned from a different server for cheating on a different server.
A few months ago some of you may remember the incursion copy paste server that was relatively popular at the time. This server had notoriously bad management/staff, furthermore most people who joined where there to troll or sabotage it. I was no exception. I intentionally got blacklisted from almost every faction for the dumbest reasons imaginable just for fun. While in this community, I streamed myself cheating on pay to win DarkRP servers in their Discord VC for fun. Perhaps this was the wrong decision, maybe nobody should ever cheat, I can't even argue with that statement. Regardless though, I ended up getting banned for cheating in DarkRP on this incursion server. I appealed the ban which got universally upvoted, but the staff decided I should remain banned. I would like to end this statement with the truth that I would never cheat on Incursion, I never have and never will.

Why should you be un-banned?:
Now that I have been given genuine reasons for my removal from parts of the community, I understand why I was banned. This is my attempt to be open and honest about everything bad I have done to the community, and I hope it can serve as an apology to everyone I wronged, whether it be friends, acquaintances, or anyone else effected by my actions. If I am given a true second chance, I promise I will not waste it. I'm done being a sperg and doing stupid shit, I just want to play with friends and have fun without trying to bend the rules or do shady stuff.

I was never banned from the game, I asked about this myself and was never given a real answer. I'm not even sure what to classify my actual ban as but it's logged as a cban.

1+ I am a sucker of second chances, when given the new chance and hearing their side and apologized depending on how serious it is(doxing for example). I’d said give vikus a chance, him wanting to be better and mature from his actions is good enough for me. Learning from your mistakes from a game you love and wanting to be better for the community is all enough for me to thumbs up for him. 👍🏼

If we banned for exploiting in the last year or so, we better ban lots and lots of people, especially considering what is and isn't an exploit changes from time to time.

If we ban for 'poaching' when the server is down, you have a fucking Gestapo list of people to go through and round up. Why did everyone go to surge for a bit? Surely they all did it without speaking to anyone else from divide! Surely NWB seeing an increase in divide players was unrelated! The server was gone for a crazy amount of time with no end in sight, that isn't poaching, it is literally just being like hey server is gone come here we are homies.

 

As for the ban reason including cheating on a darkrp server, that is fucking hilarious. Are we giving out VAC bans now? Do I get banned from here if I cheat on minecraft, spawn myself in some diamonds?
