4. Motivation for Applying: What drives you to seek the position of Elder? Discuss your vision and goals.

Im tired of seeing BOS being a shit core faction, when it can be some much greater then it ever has in divide. If i get elder i will see to it nothing goes to waste. Every member is fitted and with our best. Bring back squads for more unique RP within the chapter.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: How do you plan to establish and uphold the Brotherhood's Codex? Outline your approach.

I will see to it the codex is followed! No one is above the codex not even the elder. I would like to follow Elder Maxson to have more supremacist

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What sets you apart from other candidates? Highlight your unique strengths and experiences.

I have past experience of leading BOS as the elder in 5.0 to 6.0. I made sure nothing went to waste, VBS up 24/7, robots using LP beacons so more PA was on the field. I regained all of BOS gear back after the 5.0 Chimera incident. The role as elder was my right ever sense the server came to be. Give me what is rightfuly mine

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Which past Brotherhood missions or campaigns have shaped your beliefs? Explain their impact on you.

The many enclave camping's i have lead to keep the American remanent in check. Keeping a balance in the waste that no other faction could

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: How will you promote cohesion amongst the Paladins, Knights, Scribes, and Initiates? Describe your strategy

Brotherhood will need whole new re-work and leads to put the chapter back on the right path. I will rework the trials so members have reasons to flag up and climb the ranks. Squads will mix the branches in a more unique ways

Make the right choice the best choice for BOS Ad Victoriam

1. In-Game Name: Bartholomew

2. SteamID: STEAM_0:1:83880025

3. Discord ID: cannerd.

4. Motivation for Applying: To preserve the last vestiges of pre-war technology, protect humanity from its misuse, and ensure the Brotherhood thrives as a beacon of order in a fractured wasteland

5. Codex Establishment Plan: The Codex is not just doctrine — it’s the Brotherhood’s spine. To establish and uphold it, I will begin by reinforcing a culture of discipline, knowledge, and purpose. Every Initiate will be trained not just in combat, but in understanding why we do what we do.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What sets me apart is that I’m coming in with a clean slate, no baggage, and a real passion for creating engaging RP. I can approach the Elder role with fresh energy, new ideas, and a willingness to listen, adapt, and lead in a way that suits the current playerbase and server environment.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Battle of Project Purity. Project Purity was about more than just water. It was about hope — the hope that humanity could rise from the ashes of the old world and create something better. The Brotherhood’s involvement in that battle was a reminder of what we stand for: not just the preservation of technology, but the responsibility that comes with it. That battle made me realize that we are the custodians of humanity’s legacy, and it’s not just about hoarding old tech for the sake of power. It’s about using that tech to ensure humanity’s survival, to protect our future.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: Cohesion among the Paladins, Knights, Scribes, and Initiates requires more than just orders — it requires mutual respect, shared understanding, and a culture that recognizes the strengths of each rank. Every role in the Brotherhood is vital to our survival, and I believe it’s my responsibility to ensure every member understands that their work matters and contributes to the greater goal.

4. Motivation for Applying: What drives you to seek the position of Elder? Discuss your vision and goals.

Brotherhood of Steel has always been a faction that can be something more then it consistently is. Only a select few people have ever done it correctly as long as I have been playing (1.0 cgc). Divide's BoS Chapters since launch has been lack-luster to say the least. Nobody has stepped up to the plate and actually done it right.

One of my first visions of the BoS would involve actually enforcing the Codex. Right now it seems anything goes and they are just another "faction". There's nothing special about them. Brotherhood can be a GREAT faction with the right group of people in it, not the same revolving door of people playing it, trying to lead, failing etc.

I would like to change that. I played BoS once or twice in 2.0, Under Yuri & KC (and under Yuri's MEF Chapter in 3.0) and somewhat know how it works, I would like to learn more about the faction and its deep core ideals as its something I have really never dedicated myself to unlike Legion/Talon/NCR.

The main vision I have for the BoS is to make them a force in the wasteland, actually feared and not a laughing stock. Scaring wasters and enemy factions into bringing us Tech, Constantly patrolling the wasteland cleaning up all mishandled technology and being that looming cloud overhead if you are using technology or have any components we will be looking for it.

The first thing I would do is get a core group of people that I know have a understanding of the faction that are willing to actually role-play and not just use it as a PvP faction because "Muh huh powa armor and gat lasrz!!"

BoS deserves to be a more focused faction, strict and exclusive in a sense. Their whole shtick is that they don't trust anyone but themself to use tech, so why would they mass recruit people and allow a bunch of untrained vagabonds use it? I would steer BoS towards being a xenophobic/isolationist group and avoid being friends with a bunch of tech abusers and mutants as that makes no sense why they have been doing it this entire wipe.

Its a very hard thing to say I am going to do this and that before I am actually in place. I have a decent game plan of course (and will still be thinking about what else I can do even after I put this up) but I would need to actually get my hands on the faction and see what state it is internally before I make major changes and piss a bunch of people off and have even more problems before I even get started.

But I do have a plan as stated above and that is all subject to change as the state of the server goes on. I just believe BoS needs a fresh face to run it instead of the same people.

New Beginnings....

5. Codex Establishment Plan: How do you plan to establish and uphold the Brotherhood's Codex? Outline your approach.

As stated above I would return it to a xenophobic/isolationist standpoint.

The Brotherhood is supposed to aim to safeguard dangerous technologies, focusing primarily on combat-related technology like energy weapons and power armor, often ignoring basic technologies that may have a lesser impact on the wasteland. The main goal is not letting it get out of hand and destroying the wasteland again.

The Codex promotes isolationism, urging its members to shield themselves from outsiders, who are seen as untrustworthy or blind to tech abuse. While aiding outsiders is allowed, the Brotherhood prioritizes its own interests and restricts technology sharing, viewing it as a form treason and betrayal to the core ideals of the Codex/Brotherhood.

Another main part of the Codex is the ranking structure, its strict and always upheld to the highest standard. Following the chain of command, stepping out of line is another form of treason after you take your oath to the BoS and has always been grounds for punishment.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What sets you apart from other candidates? Highlight your unique strengths and experiences.

I have unfortunately been playing this game-mode forever and seen how nearly every faction works inside and out. I have plenty of experience in leadership positions and wont be just thrown into the fire without having any clue what to do.

I have primarily ran customs as of recent, but I did have a long-long time playing the legion and was the Legate back in 2.0. I know it may be slightly different but I do believe Legion is the closest thing to BoS-type RP in terms of following a fine line of rules (Pax Romana) and upholding a ideology.

4. Motivation for Applying: My motivation? Its simple really, Hate, I hate seeing my faction my first ever faction that I have ever joined when playing FalloutRP get slam into the dirt. its like watching your child get beat up right Infront of you and you can't di anything about it. I've been playing BOS since the start of 1.0 CGC I've been through it all I seen how far BOS can go and see how deep it can get. I'm not saying I was the best Elder in my time but I tried my damn hardest to achieve something while not only being 15 - 16 years old  also be given the shitty cards I been dealt with since leading. My Goal is to get BOS into a position in were we won't get look down about as the week faction. I want to have it as closely as Fallout 2 BOS than ever Before. I also want unity between all the Castes

5. Codex Establishment Plan: First thing no non combat uses of any chems, Like jet, Pshyco, Med-ex - etc. I also want to uphold the codex in terms of how we see mutants. Total death of all hostile mutant with includes Rabid Dogs, Ants, etc.. Non auto Hostile mutants like Super Mutant would also needs to go point blank.

6. Distinguishing Qualities:  Even though I do minge around I do know when shit needs to get serious. I also hate seeing injustice Infront of me. Like new players getting harass and kidnap. Communication is also a big thing about me and 1 more thing is experiences, I've been HC of many faction, Gunners, , Fiends, Legion, Talon, NCR, Unity, and I lead BOS before while being its HC multiple occasions.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Project chimera. the amount of spies we have back done was crazy. Like every one of the Paladins were spies. That right there Defiantly shaped BOS for the long run. It was a shit show. That impacted BOS so much that trust issues was through the roof. To the point where we couldn't trust no one. BRO THERE WAS A TRATIOR ELDER LETS BE REAL. It defiantly effected me to the point I had to take a back and regain trust on others.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: There will always be beef in the faction but my goals is to minimized it I want Scribes to have there own armory and Guns, I want knights to have the own armor and guns and so as Paladin. People needs to know that each side have a purposes and must serve that purposes. and if your unable to understand that than you shouldn't be in BOS.

 Elder Application - Sandman

1. In-Game Name: Paladin Sandman

2. SteamID:  STEAM_0:0:174308542

3. Discord ID: methamphetamine_maniac

4. Motivation for Applying:  I'm tired of the current dogshit state BoS is in, we lack direction, motivation, and confident leaders in the lower rungs of power. BoS has the potential to do so much, yet so little is done, and no one is truly addressing the root cause of our stagnation.

5. Codex Establishment Plan:  The current Codex is fine; it does not need to be adjusted. Holding people accountable is easy, as no one has ever been exempt from it. Anyone who breaks the Codex is punished accordingly, and I plan to continue that tradition of culling those who threaten our internal security and ideals.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: I have recent experience running a core faction and have witnessed many blunders that have taught me valuable lessons in managing a core and keeping your members content. I'm ready to turn the page and breathe new life into brotherhood. I value the voice of the silent majority and know that stuffing the command positions with your cronies will lead to increased discontent, creating a disenfranchised main force who feels unheard and undervalued.

- Bonus Questions -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Which past Brotherhood missions or campaigns have shaped your beliefs? Explain their impact on you.

Buck Outcast War - Casey failed to uphold the codex; his brotherhood was a prime example of how straying far from ideals that formed the faction led to chaos and destruction. A strong brotherhood is self-sufficient, and a strong brotherhood is one that is disciplined and trained. Casey's failures taught me that being friendly with groups at the bottom of the food chain does you no favors. We allied with groups who took more than they gave, and Casey ultimately paid for those mistakes with his life.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: How will you promote cohesion amongst the Paladins, Knights, Scribes, and Initiates? Describe your strategy.

Knights and Paladins will work together. Gone are the days of these two units being separated and jaded about each other's differences. These two units should complement each other, and currently, they create more of an internal divide than strengthening the chain that binds. The role of scribes will be reworked to encompass support duties such as medical, pilots, and other similar roles. The scribe cast has been neglected and disrespected due to the perceived lack of benefit they add to the Brotherhood. The changes proposed will make them more valuable and accessible.

4. Motivation for Applying: What drives you to seek the position of Elder? Discuss your vision and goals.

For over 8 years I have only seen the BOS reign successful in their efforts to impact the server to their favor a handful of times. Want I want from the elder position is to put a 4th core back on the board.

What my goals are pretty simple focus on PVP (OMG) by doing RP. You see how the server works if you try to RP you get ambushed. So force BOS to do more patrols and set up outposts so they constantly get ambushed and slowly get better at PVP.  I do want Scribes to be more RP focused and be the ones to lead a outpost in Freeside to collect tech from locals while still doing research. The only way to be promoted in Scribes is doing research projects instead of just being the only 1 active so they get instant HC. IDC if I got no HC for scribes if they can't research for shit.

I want NCOs to have a lot of power since realistically that will most people will end up. So they will be focusing on leading outposts and patrols with 4-5 enlisted. They will act more of a quartermaster as well to hand out enlisted weapons from the NCO storage and to retrieve it before the enlisted bob or before they get off so if a war or a situation pops off all enlisted men will have some way to fight back. I also want to bring back the squire system so before they fully become a full knight they have lead multiple patrols and a certain amount of outposts, kidnapped or tech mugged certain amount of enemies, as well trained recruits with oversight from a Knight+. I do want to make Squire and Knight senior enlisted. Yes Knight as senior enlisted because the codex requires that Knights+ can only wear PA but I don't want to shoot myself in the leg by having like 5 guys in PA while having so many sets not being used. This way enlisted bobs can get the T-45 and get better PA as they move up to NCO.  I do also want to make Paladin rank Senior NCO again as previously statements have said. Just less officers but NCOs will be able to have more weight in the faction so when it comes to relations so it does not have to be a Officer every single time and Paladins can talk relations but of course it is not finalized until HC approve it.

Coming down to Officers situation. They will act more as HC and more as a council of men when it comes to voting for faction relations, promotions for Senior NCOs, making people officers, making people join SF (IDK the plan is for SF knightkin ripoff? IDK). This makes it so its not always reliant on the Elder to micro manage EVERY SINGLE FUCKING THING. Promotes getting on just to get on instead of waiting for a officer to get on and do something.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: How do you plan to establish and uphold the Brotherhood's Codex? Outline your approach.

Ima be honest Idk what this version of codex is since people like to change it every elder so ill change it if its stupid. The way I am setting up the faction should be Initiate goes to Knight for Patrols and Knight goes to Paladins to do relations talk. Paladins goes to Officer to vote on relation talk/deal and they vote.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What sets you apart from other candidates? Highlight your unique strengths and experiences.

As stated before I have been around the same community (from CGC) for about 8 years. I have played more Outcats factions than BOS and the only reason I played BOS was because the Outcast faction I was in became the new BOS faction. So I might not act like your typical power hungry Elder I am sorry but honestly idc. The only real experience I have when it comes to cores is being Lt. Col for the infamous Chernon when he first took the faction over. I was there when we gutted the whole NCR officer core and implemented so they were only 3 officers max per division. I was also there to help KingRealDeal become Legate. I was there again when we gutted Legion HC and the only had 3 officers in the whole faction and ran it like that until we found suitable people. Guess what it worked both times. Chernon became a NCR Col for a good year and almost killed the server until KRD and I (Sofalo was there and was Legate before KRD and saw the up hill battle we were in) slowly revived the Legion. Did it happen over night? No it took over 2 months of constantly getting kidnapped in spawn then having to self PK (we focused heavily on RP so if anyone was kidnapped by a enemy of Legion they were pked or punished depending) over 20 times and doing that as a officer holding myself accountable helped other people in the faction to focus on the RP on Legion for PK duesl in the pit or making a slave knife fight a ranger (aka when I kidnapped cupper) with a slave collar on. This is just the experience I have on core factions and not customs which is honestly a shorter list.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Which past Brotherhood missions or campaigns have shaped your beliefs? Explain their impact on you.

(This whole list is CGC basically)

2.0 CGC Boomers VS BOS war where BOS won against NCR WITH Legion on Boomers side (I was on the Boomers side) The whole war for 2 Gauss Rifles.

2.0 CGC Outcasts war where the only threat to us was Destomic coming back to the server

3.0 CGC Talon puppeted BOS I thought was pretty funny

4.0 CGC BOS became strong cuz of Vinny

1.0 Divide Metall became Elder because the outcasts were more popular than BOS and then SC removed him because he gave enlisted PA when they weren't knights.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: How will you promote cohesion amongst the Paladins, Knights, Scribes, and Initiates? Describe your strategy.

By forcing them to work together to get promoted.
BTW I want more videos like this (peak BOS RP only topped by the BOS soilder being tortured by Pork)

4. Motivation for Applying: “I never applied before but this is something I would like to try out for the first time. I’ve been active been playing the faction for a year now and I learn from different elders who applied and wanted to try out for myself.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: “The codex will be untouched during my reign. Nobody is above the codex, if caught breaking it, it can lead a punishment for demotion or a removal of the faction, this goes for even for myself.”

6. Distinguishing Qualities: Activity and showing leadership. I host a bunch of patrols when I was a Knight, as I said before I’ve been in the faction for a year and picked up a few skills from previous elders of what to do…. and not to do.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Under Nat pylers rule, his reign was amazing, we had everyone hates us because we follow the codex even in wars we never lost during the Helios map. It was either a win or a tie. Pyler was my role model and i intend to follow his footsteps and bring back what everyone enjoyed about him.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: The main two I follow that had been with me when I first joined. Activity and leadership. Being a pvp goon is a plus as well but mainly the two i mentioned. This will show who’s willing to be part of the brotherhood of steel. It’s how you can get promoted easily.

Initiate Glade Dusk's Elder application;

1. In-Game Name:
 Initiate Glade Dusk

2. SteamID: STEAM_0:1:93468393

3. Discord ID: Unity1020

4. Motivation for Applying: Over the past 8 years of solely playing fallout RP, (from BOS RP server's, CGC, and divide as well as surge) I can roughly say that out of the 8 years of experience, 7 of them based solely playing BOS. I might be the oldest O.G currently active right now in the BOS and I aim to use my experience for the betterment of the faction. I've seen more elders get appointed and go, so much that I can barely keep count, and most of the time I've watched, or served under them, their weaknesses, strengths, what made them unique, but also made them fail.

The matter of the fact is, right now BOS is in need of a complete overhaul, to build from scratch, normally you save that till a new wipe, but time is important as that could be months from now. I've helped rebuild BOS before as former HC, and finally, if accepted, I think that now is the time to do something that I've been nominated for many times before, but never done, and that is to step up as elder and rebuild the BOS from the ground up. If accepted, this is how I would rebuild the BOS.

Firstly, when given the elder position, the first couple of days is crucial, I will personally arrange and talk to every active HC, every active SNCO/NCO's to discuss what THEIR vision is for the BOS, our current strengths, and our current weaknesses and ways on how they can help me improve if given the ability to do so. Depending on the answer's I receive off them, they may be promoted to a rank where they can back up their words and visions OR demoted for a time, just so they can get a better grasp on leadership and how to help run a faction. This may cause a stir up, I get that, but short term issues is better then it becoming long term and severely affecting the faction in the months ahead. I will not play favourites and pick who i choose from their experience, confidence, and most importantly, HOW they can help the BOS. NCO's and SNCO's are as important as HC at the end of the day, they are the one's who recruit, who lead the enlisted, who help new players, lead patrols, occupations. After all, I've always saw every NCO position to be a test to see if they can make a good HC when the time comes. On top of this, Once i'm happy with the Head knight and Head Paladin, I will be giving them more autonomy on how they handle their divisions when it comes to giving out equipment or joint operations.

Secondly, while shuffling and adjusting the leadership in the faction, I'll also relook at our relations and hold personal meetings with as much faction leaders as I can. Realistically during my rebuild, we wont have the manpower to be able to have everyone as our enemies, after all No enlisted wants to get on after school or work and get gangbanged by multiple factions in raids, it just lowers morale and causes the enlisted to hop on other factions. Relations will still be based around the codex, however even looking at the current relations,  we have enemies that shouldn't be our enemies.

Thirdly, during the rebuild and during flag up's, me and the HC I choose will try our best on making everyone's experience worth while. I'll personally push for more RP events with the Brotherhood, as well as personal RP events, war games, occupations, more patrols, more raids, basically our goal is if were yellow, or green, I don't want ANYONE sitting around in base, doing sandbag RP bored out of their minds. If we master this, we'll retain more active players for this faction and encourage more people to make a BOS character.

The rest will not be discussed, but I still have a couple of more ideas.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: Over the years of being in the BOS, I have managed to save, a lot of previous codexs off other chapters, quite simply put the Codex will be getting a little.. upgrade using all this lost art I've got at my storage. When it comes to what's in the codex, i'm... a centralist if you will, favouring both sides and I will discuss with HC, and SNCO's about using other chapters of old codex's to reshape our current one. Like i said, i'm a centralist, I believe in our right to safe guard technology by any means necessary and to... Use lethal force to get what we want.. But also, I believe that the BOS is at it's strongest when we aint hiding behind our walls, scared of the outside world as isolationist's (From what I've seen over the years most of the time BOS was at it's weakest with an isolationist mindset) Our view point on abominations will remain the same, but we'll be more open to wastelanders as.. their saving grace.. Along as they play by our rules.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What set's me apart? that's simple, my vast experience being HC under many elder's AS WELL as the confidence, and the sheer balls to change what NEEDS to be changed or improved. Every time I've been HC of BOS, it's always have been at one of their heights, now you can say this is just pure luck or amazing timing.. But i don't see it that way, everyone has a opinion, everyone has idea's.. It's how you act on these idea's and how you can strengthen your own weaknesses, and I am fully capable of doing this, and that's what set's me apart.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: When I first joined  CGC, I was a knight under Head knight Renalic, and yes even though he's... Reputation is spoiled, he was a capable head knight, and from him I learned how to better handle a division of NCO's, how to prosper them, how to train them, and how to talk to them.

During 1.2 CGC, I became Head paladin under Elder Jaeger for a short time, I led my paladins on how I wanted paladins to act, as brutal kidnapping and PVP gods that is the special forces of our army.. I did a good job.. Until I was dismissed under a new elder, Elder Yuri Crenchov, where he promoted me to the rank of General, his second in command. As Yuri's general, we shaped up our force into an amazing fighting force, daily PVP training, actually using tactics in raids and wars.. And through that, He got the nickname, "the god of war" due to the BOS under his and my reign, was UNBEATEN in every war the BOS started, or defended against. Sadly though, he stepped down.. And he wanted me to be the new elder, as well as the faction members, little 15 year old me.. But i pussied out and joined talon instead to become the Heavy marshal under Alf.

During Utah CGC, I rejoined after a long campaign with talon under Elder marley where, I became a paladin, and despite not having much decision making or leadership, we thrived, until the Stanford mutiny. This experience made me even more confident on a paladin's job and how Paladin's should act. After that and the later years of CGC, I was an MEF main, and became the second in command of a very powerful MEF under Elder Yuri and High elder Bsharps when Blythe rolled around.

I was on and off after that point, still having a BOS character, but never really became active again.. Until Divide. I rejoined under Elder Kevin, and progressed my way up to a knight, standard business. Until Mikvik became elder, I still don't know why me, but he appointed me as his Sentinel, I was out of the game when it came to leading, before that I hadn't been HC for years and.. Sadly I didn't step up yes as the Sentinel, I was more of a background character and that was my lowest point and after a couple of months, I stepped down. But it wasn't all for naught, That experience taught me the important lessons of failure and how you can rebuild yourself back up.. I learned many lessons under Mikvik, and mistakes I swear i'll never repeat.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: Simple strategy, but encourage more RP between the different castes, each caste needs help in something and that's why the BOS branches should be strong and unified like brothers, of course the Paladins will be free to go on paladin missions but unity between the caste's will only strengthen the BOS, they will also help each other out on different missions. For example if a scribe needs to go out to the wasteland to research, it will be the paladin's job to escort them. If the knight's are free and non busy, depending on the mission at hand, they can lend a hand to any paladins that need assistance and so fourth.

Thank you for reading, Ad Victoriam.

4. Motivation for Applying: I have always played bos, BOS has always been the faction driving me to continue playing on the server. I spent two entire years playing BOS, there are countless projects done by me to further the faction. That's why it came as a shock to me when a large chunk of my faction betrayed me. And honestly, I understand. At the time i was not the most experienced leader and I get that. But everyone learns from their mistakes, and so do I. I really hope I get the opportunity to once again play and help the faction that i love. And what better way of helping a faction that leading it to victory?

5. Codex Establishment Plan: I understand that last time i was a bit more liberal on the policies that the BOS takes, this changes now. I will ensure that the brotherhood’s path is one everyone can agree with. I will also ensure that the faction’s main mission is never altered, the death of every mutant, ghoul and abomination without exception. I understand some of you believe that previously i had desegregated ghouls but this is a misunderstanding, and one that will not arise again. I will ensure that this new chapter does not follow the footsteps of my previous attempt, and instead focuses on the brotherhood’s core belief.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: Some of you already know who I am, some of you dislike me, but even if you do, you can’t deny that under me the BOS was active, although I made some mistakes I learned from them, and I will adapt to combat them. I will ensure this time that I have the faction’s full support, I understand some of my choices I made were unpopular and decided either in VCs during flag ups or in the countless officer meetings. But this will change, instead of the decision being taken by a few in charge I will ensure decisions are made in the bi-weekly faction meetings that we will have, no decision that influences the entire faction should be taken by the few on the top.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations:

Countless research projects, countless recruitment drives.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: I’m going to incorporate positive aspects from my time as elder, from Nat's time as elder and even from the elders after me. Two of the systems being the squad and task system, however these two systems will be majorly overhauled to ensure that  they work better.

  • Bonus section

Let me make it clear what my intentions are

  • My first and main focus is rebuilding activity, from what I see so far the brotherhood suffers greatly from it, we will ensure that our number one focus is the recruitment of new members, and even possibly the returning of old members who might still be interested in playing.

  • I will ensure that the path the bos takes is the one everyone can agree with, I understand that last times many disagreed with my high command’s and my decision to make BOS a “good guy faction” and this changes now. Decisions this big will be made  by every single member of the brotherhood, i will ensure that every single member is satisfied with the decisions the chapter makes.

  • Another issue I'd like to address is  transparency, the lack of it. Many times in the history of the bos decisions popular or unpopular were made without the informing of the people, such as the mass promotions of PF members under Nat, or the shift to be a good guy faction by me, or even the decision to censor officer’s complaints. This changes with me, we will establish bi-weekly meetings to address anything that anyone has.

  • Another thing I'd like to make clear is that this time I'd like to make it known that my dms will be open to every brotherhood member, no matter their caste or rank. Everyone will and is encouraged to message me about anything, be it a question, a concern or a suggestion.

I hope you understand that I am not going to lead the faction the way I did before, I understand that there were actual concerns that people had, and I’m more than happy to learn from my mistakes, and I encourage anyone who dislikes any decision to personally criticise it either in my dms or the faction meetings we will hold. I hope that you give me the opportunity to do right by you and lead bos into a golden age.

4. Motivation for Applying: Pride and passion, ultimately, it comes down to those 2 things. For those who know me, I pretty much only play Brotherhood characters. I'm very open about my love for the Brotherhood of Steel. In my humble opinion, no other faction has the depth of history and roleplaying opportunities as we do. It truly brings me pain to watch as the faction that I love suffer, and I want to change that regardless of my position.

Now you will ask me "What's your vision for the Brotherhood?" Well..

I'll ask you this: Can you think of the last time you’ve seen BOS taking offensive action? I can't. We allow ourselves to be thrown back into the bunker because we are not aggressive enough. Instead, we need to take the fight to our enemies. We have the equipment to pull this off, just not the motivation.

The culture of “Bunker Blues” is a cancer. We hide away in our base and allow enemies to dominate the wasteland while we run around like rats scavenging the scraps left behind. This way of thinking means that people don't see us too often. And because of that, we suffer not only with recruitment but also with motivation.

Instead of bunker blues, it's time to be Loud and Proud. I’ve always loved the Prydwen entrance into the campaign of Fallout 4. An entire brotherhood expedition flying into an area, loudspeakers announcing who they are and to stay the fuck outa their way. That is the attitude I want from our Brothers and Sisters with everything we do. Hell, we have one of the largest potentials to become a faction that is known for airborne operations. Our VB stocks combined with power armor are a match you can't beat. We just need to utilize them properly.

For my brothers and sisters specifically. Im going to say something that will piss off a majority of our senior players. We have too many officers. This isn't to put anyone down, but we need maybe a total of 6 actual officers in the faction. The Elder, Sentinel (Maybe), Head Paladin, Head Knight, and Head Scribe. Then the Knight Commander, no, this isn't because I currently hold that rank. Instead, because of the vast quantity of Knights and Initiates, the Knight Caste is ultimately responsible for. Most players end up on 1 of those. Officers, in my opinion, are currently taking all the authority away from our NCOs. They don't exist within our current structure, as we end up doing 95% of any leadership that needs to happen. Instead, we need to put trust into the personnel we promote to NCO ranks, allowing them to lead, plan, and then execute operations. Officers will still have a role to play, but it should be large-scale policy and strategic planning, not tactical stuff.

By putting forward these cultural and structural changes, we will dominate the wasteland.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: plain and simple, we need a codex that encourages the values that we want to see. while functionally yes we may be able to work with a boring instructional one that isn't what the codex is for, Its a roleplaying document whose purpose is to inspire our playerbase to do the shit that the Brotherhood is known for. Securing technology to protect mankind's progress. When new Brothers and Sisters who have no idea how the faction works want a guide, they should look to the codex

So yes, we need a codex that will functionally work, but one that takes us beyond just existing because we are a Core.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: So far, there appears to be a common trend: Everyone who is applying has experience. Now, while I do have the experience to get the job done, I don't define myself by that; those experiences are in my past. I'm looking at the future, I'm not confined by my OOC relationships, to be frank, I was away for long enough that it's nearly a clean slate for me. I can go into this with fresh eyes and fresh plans that will be pulled by working with our current HC, Officers and NCOs.

If my Resume is critical for a decision, then Ill briefly provide it

CGC
Knight Cmdr -middle (ish) 3.0
Head Paladin -middle (ish) 3.0
General (2nd in charge) late 3.0
Elder - end 3.0 to early 4.0

General (2nd in charge) 4.0 during the events of the Chimera vs BOS Conquest

Divide
Head Paladin (Idk how you count time, but under previous management)
Knight Cmdr (Current)

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Safe to say I've seen pretty much everything from Outcast rebellions to a Flag-up of 20 members jumping from the prydwin after a raid was called on us. But what I'm influenced most by is my own failures. During my time as Elder on CGC, we suffered greatly from bunker blues. At the time, I thought it was for the betterment of the faction however, it just led to similar issues that we see today. Lack of motivation and drive to accomplish goals. I spoke about it in my motivation to become Elder section, but I want the faction to take a good look at Airborne operations. test them out and really see what works and what doesn't.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: Like almost everyone, I've worked within the Brotherhood to foster a sense of community and form a common goal. Currently, as I see it there are 2 areas we desperately need to improve upon to ensure success.

1. Paladin caste has always been a bit odd to organize in our rank structure. whether it's as a coequal Caste to knights or when they are 1 "Unified" Caste. The best solution I have seen is to recognize that and use it to our advantage. These players have a wealth of experience in a number of key fields. From traditional PVP to special operations, they should be treated as the subject matter experts, much like the US Warrant Officer Corps. used as advisors, mentors, and teachers to our Knight NCOs as well as HC. Maybe not having direct command authority over traditional operations, but having an experienced voice guiding our Knights to success.

2. While we are lacking Initiates rn I would very much like to see a closer relationship between the Knight and Initiate Castes. The best way to train Initiates has always been by the Knights directly. This leads to better team cohesion as people become familiar with their team's capabilities.

As the current Knight Commander, I'm already pushing for more recruitment of new brothers and sisters to help this cause.

4. Motivation for Applying: What drives you to seek the position of Elder? Discuss your vision and goals.

I wish to bring the Brotherhood back to its former glory and bring it back to it's full strength again.

I want the brotherhood to be a powerful force again out in the wasteland and not just some faction to be walked all over on all the time.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: How do you plan to establish and uphold the Brotherhood's Codex? Outline your approach.

I plan to strictly follow the Codex as Lost Hills intended, no breaches and not straying away from is as a certain previous Elder. Any breaches of the codex shall be met with harsh punishment as the Codex should be a way of life to the brotherhood.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What sets you apart from other candidates? Highlight your unique strengths and experiences.

While i don't have much experience within HC other then being the Sentinel for a few months, I've learned from my mistakes as Sentinel and the Elders before me that i know what i should be doing and what i shouldn't be doing. I'm also willing to take criticism from my brothers in arms and listen to them as we are a house of steel.

As I've said beforehand. I've never held anything higher than Sentinel in BOS and whilst i intended to retire before the mutiny and have only stayed since then. My interest and willingness to be within BOS revived itself. It is only within my best interest to see the brotherhood to succeed.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: Which past Brotherhood missions or campaigns have shaped your beliefs? Explain their impact on you.
During the mutiny there were several times where i spoke to the Outcasts to organize a peaceful merge back into the full brotherhood. It took several attempts due to poor leadership decisions and unfortunate circumstances. However in the end peace was achieved and for awhile the Brotherhood was good again.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: How will you promote cohesion amongst the Paladins, Knights, Scribes, and Initiates? Describe your strategy

RP engagement, PvP amongst Paladins and Knights, Events with all three castes working together.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: I have played BoS since CGC 4.2 and I basically know the ins and outs of this faction. In the unlikely event that I did get chosen for Elder, I don't plan on being Elder for long. Instead, I plan on strengthening our high command and officer cores, establishing a strong line of lineage, and stepping down when the Brotherhood is in a good place.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: I took part in that shit back in 5.0 when that fucking bitch Blackwell became Elder and defected to Chimera or some shit. I hated that shit, and I want to make sure stupid shit like that never happens again. BoS gear belongs to BoS!

4. Motivation for Applying: I wish to bring the BOS back to a golden age. One where they exist as a faction in the Mojave one where their goals are followed and carried out. To bring good relations and competent Knights. Make sure PF no longer walks into the BOS supply room and mug a laser gat off a dude (lmao) In conclusion I wish to make BOS a true power house again and make it a competent faction.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: I will inspect the quality of the existing officers and see if they are a good fit. I will uphold the Codex and try to not move away from it. All your tech belongs to us.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: I will be a femchar 💯. In all seriousness I have been a HC in multiple factions and have seen the leadership of lots of different types of people as I have been in 75% of all factions in someway. I will try my best to do my best and make BOS the best faction it could be.

- Bonus Questions (Optional) -

7. Influential Brotherhood Operations: I used to be a scribe. I have seen the abuse of power that Elders and Sentinels have put on the lower Castes. This often leads to massive failures both in combat and technology. I will make a working system unlike those who tried before.

8. Fostering Unity Among Castes: I believe everyone should have some voice in BOS decisions leaving things up to popular vote or in officer circles everyone will be able to have a voice. I will take criticism and I will work to improve myself and others.image.png.ab99a7532be1f4a283d1351c5e10712c.png

4. Motivation for Applying: What drives you to seek the position of Elder? Discuss your vision and goals.

I am applying for this position to send BoS into a better standing on the Server, I believe BoS has the potential to be one of the Powerhouses on the Server, yet I think constant setbacks and overall poor decision making has led to a constant decline with the faction as a whole.

- Personally, I believe the philosophy the BoS currently has is acceptable, an FNV BoS Chapter suits the atmosphere and can easily be interpreted in multiple ways. My philosophy in many ways will align with FNV's Brotherhood where the majority of our concerns will be survival and the reclamation of technology (Including Faction Armor and Equipment). Whatever is best for the Chapter will be my main concern, whether that be a higher emphasize on Combat or Relations.

5. Codex Establishment Plan: How do you plan to establish and uphold the Brotherhood's Codex? Outline your approach.

Strict and tight,

Nothing will slip through the cracks and it will be upheld as the writing was intended.

6. Distinguishing Qualities: What sets you apart from other candidates? Highlight your unique strengths and experiences.

- My main focus for the rest of this wipe will be hunting down reclaimable Faction Equipment, I won't go into much detail on how I'll go about doing that, but I'll definitely try my best in that regard. Something that'd I'd change about the BoS is how we carry ourselves; I often see people getting stressed over small issues such as shooting a diplomat or something, that don't really affect us at all, the issues we should be focusing is stuff that will benefit the faction or help in our main purpose.

-I will get it done if it need be

I am well known and i think it could be a great opprotunity to see BoS Thrive again as its been neglected and forgot about. Bad leaders, Mutinys and neglect has put BoS in a terrible spot.
