However in times of war you need to act first and ask questions later, so if the trigger needs pulled, it's going to get pulled. Once Tristan had reached the age of ten, in 2255, he would then hear rumors of “Men of Steel” arriving in the Pitt and slowly going through it and killing most slavers and raiders. They would eventually arrive at the herd of his and his friends' captors and began to kill many of the slavers, during this Tristan would gather his two friends and hide away and avoid the conflict. Just a couple hours later all the slavers were dead and most of the other children had fled, it was only then he saw one of the banners with the logo of the Brotherhood of Steel. He would offer his two friends kinship due to this and would prompt that they all travel together to survive, as the other two accepted, all of them adopted the surname “Silver” due to the most common mineral that was mined in the camp. As they began to leave the Pitt and enter the Capital Wasteland, they would grow up together doing many unsightly things in order to survive. However, in the back of his mind, Tristan desperately wanted to find the “Men of Steel” and join them. When he would arrive with his brothers in their mid 20's at the Citadel in the year 2267, they would be denied as this chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel did not accept “outsiders”. Seeing nothing left for him and his brothers, they would leave the Capital Wasteland and travel through the Midwest and all its horrors to then wind up in the Mojave, in the year 2277, though for a short period of time, being split off from Gordon. Once arriving in the Mojave and temporarily serving as forced hires of Talon Company, they joined the more open-minded Mojave Chapter and made their oaths. Age: 32 Scenario Questions: The Sentinel of the Brotherhood has ordered you to assist him in the killing of a Paladin, he has told you they have broken the Codex and needs you to do it right now. What would you do? I would directly ask the Sentinel which parts of the Codex were broken to determine the severity of the punishment, if the punishment of execution is too harsh, I would bring it up to the Elder if the Elder was present. However, if there was no Elder, I would follow the Sentinel's orders. The BOS encounters a ghoul on their patrol that is apart of the NCR, the BOS is currently Neutral with NCR but your Knight SGT feels compelled to take action, what do you do? I would advise the Knight Sergeant respectfully, that only High Command/High Council are meant to handle relations, and breaking relations can result in Execution if done without their approval. I would convene with the Sentinel, if he is a follower of the codex, and bring it up to other trusted members of the Brotherhood who follow the Codex and propose a mutiny against the Elder as WMDs are against the Brotherhood's entire mission, if the Elder will not step down from attempting to use it.
