Donnie Malkav Emerges from the Vault!

Date of Birth: March 13th, 2020

Member of Vault-Tec!

Donnie Malkav was a radiologist before the war. He worked in different hospitals around the area for years before the bombs fell from the sky. Eventually the opportunity arose to reserve a spot at Vault 86 for himself and his family. The monumental day of October 23rd 2077 will forever be branded into Donnie's memory as the day he gave up everything FOR EVERYTHING!

Donnie kept his family close as he watched the vault door close. His life was now changed for the rest of time His neighbors probably lied dead up there, fighting to get into the vault last second. It was a struggle to adjust to life underground, and it wasn't too long before things got even more unusual. A lot of people started getting very sick. Turns out the people at Vault-Tec designed the vault door to never close fully. The seal to keep radiation from leaking inside was ineffective. Most were lost, including his family. Donnie, however, eventually just got better; it didn't leave him unchanged though. Over the years the survivors began to slowly change. Their skin began to rot and fall off, the radiation constantly flowing in became something they could ignore, they didn't have to eat or drink as much, and of course they seemed to stop aging.

The radiation had changed those who were lucky. Donnie saw this new human state as perfection and now can only wonder: If it can make us immortal, what else can the power of radiation do?

 

((This is still a somewhat new character and he doesnt have much experience out in post-war America. Might post more background stuff and some notes he's been taking about the wastes later on.))

Hey, keep it up! Vault 86 has a lot of potential when it comes to story/lore in 4.0 considering the Vault is run by Ghouls who have a odd fanaticism about radiation.

I'll eagerly read whatever you write about Donnie Malkov/Vault 86!
