Quite a while ago now I made a post saying "Staff must give a reason for denying posts" This was accepted but WAS  either FORGOTTEN or IGNORED. Despite being an accepted suggestion.

Explanation of suggestion?

You MUST give a reason for denying a post. This suggestion WAS already accepted but ignored. Sadly a common sight from suggestion.  You MUST give a reason for denying posts. Again this was already accepted. But ignored due to what I have to assume was staff being lazy?

How or why does this benefit the server?

Creates transparency on why a post was denied. Also keeps staff to there word. Again this was already accepted. But I still see DENIED with no reason. Divide is COOKED. Why cant SC keep there word?

Are there any workshop add-ons or content needed for this suggestion?

Kaz part of that was because that was accepted in like, 2.0 by a completely different SC. I don't keep track of every single suggestion that is accepted/denied at all times, especially in 1.0/2.0 that had stuff accepted, and I doubt newer SC members like Observer do as well. As for the "forgotten and ignored" part, that's why there is "accepted but not done" to address that specific issue. Staff Council isn't a monolith, it changes.

I denied the last post as a joke, if you paid attention to the divide discord, we have a new community manager right now (and a very capable one at that).

This is for a WIDER issue. Not just that one. But you're right. It was a different SC. But its still a good suggestion? And still needed? I accept. That this SC is somewhat different to what it was. But its still the case that many wish to know why something was denied or accepted.

You can always DM the SC to figure out why it was denied but usually it's good practice to explain why in the post, however when theres like 10+ suggestions that need to get to looked at it can be annoying and time consuming to type out a reason for every single one.
