[ Concept ] The Stealthboy Rule

What do you want to be changed?

Add a rule that using a stealthboy is automatically KOS

Explanation of suggestion?

In the fallout games, using a stealthboy often indicates covert operations, hostile intent or an attempt to escape, following this fact, it makes sense to designate the user as KOS. For example, if a nightkin stealthboys around me, I am going to assume that I will be the target of an attack/kidnapping, if so, I should be allowed to spray and pray the area or in the scenario of a player with a stealthboy caught in a dangerous situation, could activate their stealthboy to escape without any consequences, disrupting the balance of the encounter. Apart from the PVP aspect, treating stealthboy users as immediate threats also enhances the immersive experience of the server. This rule will encourage players to think carefully before using a stealthboy, adding a layer of strategy. Players will need to weigh the benefits of temporary invisibility against the risk of being targeted by everyone, leading to more thoughtful and engaging gameplay.

How or why does this benefit the server?

This change benefits the server by maintaining balance, enhancing immersion, and encouraging strategic gameplay.

Are there any workshop add-ons or content needed for this suggestion?

N/A

That.... That's just about the dumbest thing I have read today. It sounds to me like there's a skill issue here.

I get SB's are really aggravating, but making them KOS for using it is just retarded.

Could you elaborate more on your disagreement?

Stealthboys aren't that bad to deal with unless you have the situational awareness of a lobotomite and the object permanence of a rock. Are they annoying? of course it is, but I don't go around making nerf posts or rule change suggestions because I'm annoyed. I look for another solution. You gotta find a way to deal with them and get creative with it. Place mines, Use grenades, AoE weapons, things like that.

Seriously, you gotta use your noggin and think.

Wouldn't you agree that using the ways you listed to combat a SB is quite literally attempting to do what my suggestion intends to do without crossing the RDM threshold?

Get yo money up and get a SB

If anyone wants to provide a real counter-argument to this suggestion on how it directly correlates with server balance, other than “skill issue, get your money up, or retarded” I am open to hearing your ideas

as a person who uses SB I recognize that they are stupidly good in combat, and that they need a nerf.

however the willful reluctance in staff council to not do anything about it, along with the terrible ideas like this given by the community make it impossible.

so I guess ill just keep destroying noobs with it gg

frankly, there should just be a cool down, the most egregious issue with SB's (including factions who have is hard-coded to WL's and Armors) is the quick switching between the utility and whatever weapon is at their disposal.

Making them KOS would be silly, when the easier idea is the cooldown as it fixes some of the most broken aspects of an SB, in my opinion at least.
