(Doesn't have to be THIS wipe, but it better be next wipe at the very least) Explanation of suggestion? Right now in the current moment, the main 4 core factions are in a deadlock forced hostility with one another and frankly, some of them are just not developed or made in a way that is to fight one another (i.e; NCR and Legion are meant to combat one another but when you introduce Legion against Unity, they'll just clop them with the 1-tap ballistic fist, I can't even make a comparison with NCR, mega vendor slop OP gang) The only ONLY real way I can see this being accepted is that balance reforms are actually implemented unto factions ( @Archer sorry, 19 high ends a month in NCR, and god knows how many in Legion is just not doing it for me.) This wasn't an issue in CGC because factions were considered mega cores, NCR for instance only had the browning as their only custom order weapon and so on with Legion and this other slop retard CO weapon shit. SO, if and when these balances are introduced we should and can put an end to the forced hostilities between cores and ease the issues that have been thrown on the community because of this, some of these factions are well and truly just not meant to engage one another and if an alliance is strung up, fine, okay, but if the balances are brought in it won't be ANYWHERE near an issue compared to what it could be. (I DON'T INTEND OR THINK ANY OF THESE MAJOR REBALANCES WOULD BE ABLE TO APPLY UNTIL A WIPE OCCURS.) How or why does this benefit the server? It gives some factions a breather for starters that desperately need it and allows for a gentler touch on balancing some factions that also DESPERATLY need to be rebalanced (Herr der I spent $331,414 on the mod, make me OP!!!!), because some of these factions are just not equipped or meant to be FORCED to fight one another, it just ends poorly and just kills the overall mood for some people, as much as I'd not like to say "RP" (You know why) it COULD incentivize some form of RP between groups instead of just "BOS PATROL, SPAM YOUR AMBUSH BIND NOW NOW NOW NOW" Are there any workshop add-ons or content needed for this suggestion? Now I wait for the masses to arrive, the forum warriors, Daniel, all of them to storm the palace with pitchforks and forum warrior swastikas out. Sorry Wrath, but you know as much as me that rebalancing is the better way forward than forcing cores to be hostile with one another. ========================================================

READ MY LIPS BEFORE YOU READ THIS, I AM SUGGESTING THIS FOR ONLY RESEARCH/RP WIPES, NOT NORMAL WIPES (A normal wipe being just a map change and item wipe, an RP wipe being wiping all researched items and RP that occurred during prior wipes) Add a sort of “weight” system for the server so factions don’t lose ALL the research they had performed during their prior wipes (Because believe me that shit hurts so bad when it happens) Explanation of suggestion? Rather than wiping everything and anything, make it so factions can take a certain amount of research goods with them rather than losing everything to the void of a wipe i.e; A max “weight” system of 10 (Purely an example) Tier 1 research; 2 weight points Tier 2 research; 3 weight points Tier 3 research; 4 weight points Tier 4 research; 5 weight points How or why does this benefit the server? This makes it so a faction doesn’t lose ALL its progress that they’ve gained from wipes but gives them a small opportunity to take items from their previous work, they wanna take a storage? 2 points out of 10, someone researched a XM8 and wants to drag it through a wipe? Okay, 5 points. It doesn’t allow much to be taken through but it allows for some easing of wipe pains without having to go through the repeat pain of losing EVERYTHING you researched. Are there any workshop add-ons or content needed for this suggestion? Also don’t take this suggestion as if an RP wipe were imminent, there hasn’t been a single peep or whisper about that even occurring, this is just a suggestion that’s been bugging me for awhile now.
