Why should you be un-banned?: Ever since I broke my foot I have been taking a lot of pain killers and those have been influencing my actions I think I deserve a second chance as a player, I fully understand the removal from staff since drug usage shouldn't make up for my actions. However I don't think a 2 week ban is needed due to my actions very clearly not being my true self. The mix of solid roleplay and unpredictable interactions is nostalgic at this point and consistently keeps me coming back, and I’ve found myself really invested in both the server and with the people playing in it. I’d like to help the server thrive however I can, whether that’s behind the scenes or by helping keep things running smoothly during busy hours. I’m incredibly active already, and since I’m around so often, it just makes sense to step up and contribute to keeping things organized and enjoyable for everyone. I care a lot about the experience here and want to do my part to make sure it continues to grow and improve. Whether it’s assisting with tickets, helping newer players get settled which I have experience with already from my time running Talon, or making sure roleplay stays on track, I’m ready to take on that responsibility. This server has a lot of potential and it’s certainly worth putting the time into to revitalize especially in a time like this one as there are so many players who have built memories over the years playing the server and are just waiting for changes in the right direction to return of which I'd love to help facilitate. As Talon Faction Lead, I’ve spent a lot of time bringing in new players, getting them involved, and making sure they feel welcomed and included in the server. I’ve got a good sense for reading the room and stepping in when things are tense, whether it’s a disagreement between players or a situation that needs staff input, I’ve often found myself acting as the middle ground to keep things fair and respectful. I’m driven to see the server grow and succeed, and I genuinely care about the people in it. I want this community to last, and I’ll put in the time and effort to help make that happen. How old are you?: 22 What are your past bans on the Server (if any): I got swept up a couple years back as part of the PLA incident playing under snapdragon, but on this iteration nothing. List as many rules as possible from the rule page without looking: - No RDM (if not part of a raid/ambush, RP has to be initiated before combat can occur) - Players must abide by FearRP such as to value their "life", such involves a 2:1 ratio for FearRP to occur with PA/Mutants counting as 1.5 - When you die you forget everything that lead to your death and can not return to the area of incident for at least 15 minutes - No failRP - players must attempt to adhere to the roleplay established by the faction they are in i.e. Legion can not set a precedence of taking chems.. - Treat all players fairly ICly and respectfully OOCly -- No targeting or harassment - No Metagaming - Ambush requires 3 hostile players within eyesight to start, raids require the opposing force to have 6 players, wars require 8.. - No mugging low level new players - No combat baiting - No scamming Anyone may apply for staff however it is recommended that you are somewhat known within the community and have over 48 hours on the server. Nocturnis Exact time this incident happened?: 5/16/25 12:56 PM Please describe the incident: I was looting and then got mes'd by a nightkin. They took me to NCR base and told them that they think I have NCR armor on the BM. Then they took me to Nipton put me in a staff call and BM checked me. Then took me back to NCR base than to ranger bunks. They told me either give them my ballistic fist or get ck'd (shown in clip). I chose to get ck'd instead of giving them a ballistic. The reason they used to approve this CK was "2. Defection and Sale of Faction Branded Item(s):". Even though I never played or defected NCR on that character so there was no possible way for me to defect, it was mugged off of players. Even if they tried to use the reason "1. Possession of Faction Branded Item(s):", I told them that I would hand the armor back to NCR (shown in screen shot). I never once sold NCR armor, I only put it on BM. Grenadier Islam Makhachev | Vexillarius Daemones Sullius Steam ID and Discord ID: flippedtable | STEAM_0:1:55059860 Length of Time on the Server: Since Launch Why do you want to be a staff member?(100 word minimum): I think being staff is fun in a sense, You get to interact with most players and build rapport, being able to bring a level headed approach to a situation. Half the time at night there is no staff to do anything or that WANT to do anything and that is when I primarily play, waiting 20 minutes for a staff sit for something simple makes it redundant because usually nobody cares after waiting that long. I also would just like to help the server in general as I feel like not many people have been stepping up to the plate lately and the server requires decent and active staff to keep it running smoothly so higher ups don't have to worry. The last thing is I actually want to be staff for is to have something else to do besides raiding and walking around like a AI when nothing is happening, whether that be taking sits, helping with events, looking into issues, etc. Its not that hard of a job but most people just want it for the power vs keeping the server alive, which is all I care about since its fun (sometimes).   5. What do you want to be changed? I'd like for the number of mid-end/low-high-end weapons auctions to be increased. I'd also like for the auctionable weapons to be changed as well. Explanation of suggestion? The number of weapons being auctioned off is too little, mid-end auctions with only 4 items being sold are stupid. High-end auctions are another story altogether, high-ends are important to any faction who wishes to survive, which is why I believe the number of weapons being sold all across the board should increase, with a few restrictions. Increase the minimum bids for high-ends based on how good the weapon is ie. The minimum for something like an Avenger should start at 1 million caps. To add to this, if no one can make a minimum bid, the weapon goes unsold for the auction and cannot under any circumstance be sold for lower than the minimum bid. This prevents a faction from scooping up a cheap high-end at the end because everyone spent all their money. Limit each faction to only 2 highends per auction. Increase the total number of high-end/midends auctioned off at their respective auctions. For the second part of this suggestion; I'd like for any custom order that when ordered was made a higher rarity due to it being allowed in the loot pool to be added to the list of auctionable weapons with obvious exceptions to some guns that are a little crazy. How or why does this benefit the server? More people would get on and interact with each other whether it be PVP for extractors and muggings, or selling to factions (Like Bos, VG, and GR). It also helps factions that have been bid out of auctions due to the small number of weapons being sold, hopefully boosting their player count as their is something to work for . It also siphons off money from this inflated economy. Are there any workshop add-ons or content needed for this suggestion? No, everything is already on the server.   6. What do you want to be changed? Allow Customs and Core factions to research and unlock additional stash types beyond the defined three (Customs) and four (Cores), including options to tailor usage based on the roleplay and research involved, such as limiting access, adjusting storage size, or tying functionality to specific faction purposes in line with the roleplay/research performed. Explanation of suggestion? With the recent update to the research rules clarifying stash limits (3 for Customs, 4 for Cores), this suggestion offers a research-based pathway for Core and Custom factions to expand their logistical capabilities in a balanced and lore-friendly way. Notably, New Haven, which is a conglomerate of Custom factions currently has access to a stash system, highlighting precedent for Customs having storage utilities. How or why does this benefit the server? Smaller research projects like lockers or stash upgrades are a great entry point for newer researchers or factions that aren’t ready to jump into complex, high-day weapon or armor projects. Right now, only a handful of players have the experience (or the faction resources) to tackle those bigger projects, so the research system ends up benefiting just a few groups that have the experience of researching over the last few years. Letting people work on simpler, practical but still rewarding upgrades like additional stashes and lockers helps spread out research participation and gives more factions something meaningful to contribute. It also builds faction identity, rewards planning, and makes the system feel more open and worthwhile. And from a balance standpoint, this doesn’t break anything. It just removes an annoying inconvenience and improves quality of life for a lot of people, especially Customs who currently have to travel to places like Freeside or Nipton just to stash basic gear. Adding more incentive for cores to go out into the wasteland will increase RP, ambushes, and more. to prove this works look at unity their money making method requires to get FEV in the wastes or to take heads off of people, as we all see unity will very commonly be out in the wastes because why would they ever sit in base. I want Paradise Falls to be converted or locked. It genuinely has been the most unfun thing interacting with PF at almost any time whether I'm an ally/neutral/hostile with them. Paradise Fall's only goal is to just make you mad by hitting you with a tranq from 100 yards away without being able to do anything about it, grav you, and then take you to the Thunderdome to farm for 30 minutes. While there are exceptions, they are far and few between as most of PF purposely goes out of their way to have fun at the expense of others. Paradise Falls also has a history of abusing their Faction's equipment to target and bully other Factions heavily and without remorse. They consistently cause issues and there is usually a member or two banned for something about every week. How or why does this benefit the server? This benefits the server by eliminating a faction who's only goal is to enslave and mug people which depending on who is enslaving and mugging you, are the worst to do it and it is their only function. It is not fun for anyone to deal with PF unless you are PF yourself and while there may be a minority of people who attempt to break the stigma, most do not make the effort to do so. They would be better served with being replaced by another faction that could actually serve multiple purposes or simply just not existing. From the massively populated 4.0 era of CGC to the Honest Hearts map that Jacoba made to this wipe. The server feels like it's in a decent state with a good SC+ team (for the first time ever), and it's motivated me to want to lend my aid to the staff team. I play a good amount late at night, and it isn't easy to get a staff member to respond to you at those times. I believe in enforcing the rules fairly and consistently. Previous Staff Experience: Old World Blues What Skills/Attributes do you bring to the table?: I'm a long-time player with a lot of experience who knows almost all the rules like the back of my hand. I'm receptive to feedback and like to look at situations from multiple perspectives and take the opinions of others before making decisions which I see as valuable in a staff member. I have so many ideas and plans that could take this server to the next level. I know the ins and outs of this server and want to contribute in a greater way than just being HC in the most active and cool faction on the server. This is my first time applying for staff on any server I've been on, but don't let this fool you. I intend on being the most fair and upstanding staff member this community has ever seen, I feel that my lack of experience will be out weighed by a new and different outlook/approach I would take to the position. I have noticed an extreme lack of cohesion when it comes to staff members on this server. Half the time I ask a question about why something was changed or is different and the response I get back from the staff member is "I don't know, the other staff must have changed something". That's really silly and should never be a thing if this server is to be taken seriously as the best spot for Fallout RP on GMOD.   15. What do you want to be changed? Lower healing delay after taking damage to around 1 to 0.5 seconds Explanation of suggestion? The length of time you need to wait in the current settings is too long and slows down combat too much. It feels bad to get hit, take cover, and just have to wait before using healing, and then waiting for the healing to take effect. You shouldn't be able to heal while actively getting shot, and this will still prevent high DR players from just face tanking while chugging healing, which was the main issue before. How or why does this benefit the server? Combat will feel a lot more fluid and won't feel like you're hitting a speed bump and then having to wait for the light to turn green so you can play again.   18. What do you want to be changed? Cap limit increased before earnings are put directly into the bank and/or the banks withdrawal fee tweaked. Explanation of suggestion? The current character cap limit of 500k before all earnings are automatically deposited into the bank is too low when paired with the fact that any amount of caps made past 500k are automatically deposited into a 25% withdrawal fee bank system. How or why does this benefit the server? Personally, I have been grinding on one character to be able to go to a high end auction whenever one happens next. The current limit is 500k caps before everything is sent to the bank with a 25% withdrawal fee! I understand keeping the bank unappealing to keep people from stashing all their caps there, making mugging for caps annoying/obsolete. That being said, with a 25% fee on the bank and the current cap limit, I feel punished for trying to get enough money to have a fighting chance to be the winning bid for whatever desirable high-end item(s) in auction, or to have enough money to buy said item(s) from another player if the opportunity arises, etc. Increasing the limit keeps motivated players motivated to keep going, instead of kicking them in the dick once they hit 500k. Are there any workshop add-ons or content needed for this suggestion? Probably not!

  19. What do you want to be changed? Remove the server ranks of Community Manager and Server Manager Explanation of suggestion? Both of these server ranks are completely unneeded and have 0 impact on the server other than total control. Staff council is a COUNCIL of an odd amount of people so that votes can be made. This is not a targeted post this has always been my POV even when I was SC. The server only needed this rank when Jacoba was in charge because he was the pseudo owner after Meeps stepped away. Since his departure the server has never been run properly with decisions being made by 1 or 2 sole people overlooking the council. How or why does this benefit the server? 9 times out of 10 server manager or community manager is a rank that is used to feed that individual's needs over the server's needs. Also this server is a community but it is 1 server at the end of the day and always should be in terms of development. All decisions made through the server and it's image should be done through a collective group and not 1 individual. If that 1 individual makes a bad decision it impacts EVERYTHING. It impacts the server's image, the server's players, and how the server runs. This has been seen with Ghoulseye, its been seen with Dreadnaught, etc. Everything is multiplied by a ton when that bad decision is being pushed by the 1 individual that cannot see common ground. Also if anyone does things badly in staff council there doesn't need to be a rank above them for consequences to be pushed. Its as simple as talking to them as a collective group and booting them out or going on even ground and stopping it from happening. Its not hard to communicate through a discord text channel.   20. That holds no logical argument, this is divide not cgc. If every other custom is not allowed one, why are you allowed 2 in the same "base" ? Just run to nipton lol. There is zero downside to people (or active factions) getting stashes, its so cool when I am recruiting/promoting someone and I have to run all the way across the map to a stash to check if I already have a set because "muh uh balance". The fact that Gun Runners & Van Graffs literally don't even have them but they had them in 1.0 cgc and divide completely invalidates what you are saying. Your entire approach is invalid when you look at other factions that have been around the SAME amount of time, yet are barred from having a "OVERPOWERED" stash.

  21. Why is there one inside the vault that only one faction can access and one in new haven yet BM cant have one when more people move through BM every day? Even the double standards aside, it's quality of life and it's being researched and not given for free. What is even "easy" about having a stash? It's pure convenience and quality of life.

The group system previously was a hidden gem for coordinating guys. Being able to keep track of where everyone is regardless of disguise or uniform similarities made it way easier to lead people around and do complicated kidnappings or ambushes. With the current system of it resetting on death, you're forced to either bind it (which makes the original change essentially useless, because you're still keeping the group) or to go without, and most people like the group system. The Lost City A city that is lost by time, called Subterra, concealed beneath the barren wastelands, remained a closely guarded secret for centuries until a series of seismic disturbances unearthed its entrances. As rumors spread of a subterranean paradise untouched by radiation and chaos, factions from across the wasteland converge on the newly revealed city, each with their own intentions. The event would involve players navigating through treacherous tunnels, encountering remnants of the old world's technology and society preserved in pristine condition. However, they must also contend with the descendants of the original inhabitants, who have developed their own unique culture and customs over generations. Once they wipe the city there will be a reward. Either Specialized Knowledge: Uncover ancient texts, holotapes, or data archives containing valuable scientific research, engineering schematics, or medical breakthroughs. Or some type of weapon, that has not been seen before. High Command Visit A visit from the cores factions overseers, which will hold a large flag up for each. Followed by some type of either speech, broadcast, or roleplay from each overseer to announce an event for every core which is know as the "Core War". --> Core War A large war event, where every core has a chance to fight for something great. Either being a special item, or weapon for there success. This would be over the span of two days. There will be many wars which will earn them points, which will be used to for the final. The final would be the top TWO most cores with the most POINTS who will compete for a chance at victory and glory amongst the wastelands. Each battle with be custom to each core. NCR / Legion, would be in hover dam if possible, or a fort. Earth Invasion Prepare for the Alien Evasion which will be an event open to all. Following several spaceship crashes, a trail emerges, leading to a heavily guarded alien hideout. Players will have to storm the hideout to uncover its secrets which are guarded by powerful aliens. Upon its capture, a server room awaits, offering perks to three lucky users. These perks, will be either a temporary research boost or a player advantage like a perk.

Ive only ever had nice experiences with this person, and when observing people in noclip for events and potential roleplay jmp has shown a interest in doing actual roleplay with people in his own faction and outside of it which shows that he wants the community to be closer together. He is a positive player and only wants divide to continue to grow and have a community that cares. He makes people want to play the server and him being a staff member will only amplify this desire. +1

  28. Just because something has "always been this way" means nothing. If there is no logical reasoning behind VT being allowed one and nobody else, then why continue to leave things as is when you can just choose to change it. Better yet, instead of just VT having one why not every faction have one? It was a CGC 4.1 Change that removed stashes from all faction bases aside from cores because of "server performance". It changed literally nothing. So why not give some QOL to the server and allow them to do an easy research project for a stash. Hell, I'd be in favor of just giving everyone a stash.

  30. As long as there are still limits since I imagine each faction having like 20 faction storages would bloat the server and cause performance issues, I'm cool with it. Even could have it where you can sabotages to get rid of other faction storages (people would have time to get their stuff from the storage before it's removed).

PART 1: Chained up and soaped up A mustard gas-stained Vertibird lifted off from the Mojave Outpost, carrying one lone mutant—Henry Poppins—to the Corrections Facility for his multiple crimes against his fellow man, committed during a moment of insanity. At the Corrections Facility, prisoner intake had an MP and several troopers waiting to handle the screening and orientation of the arriving officer. The Vertibird touched down just outside the facility and was quickly surrounded by the group of soldiers. Its door opened, revealing Henry—a gas-stained mutant with a bandaged eye. “What’s with the eye?” the MP barked. “Implant recovery,” Henry replied. The troops escorted Henry into the CF to be processed and, hopefully, cleaned of the lingering gas stains. After a lengthy intake procedure, Henry was issued new clothes and sent to general population. Hordes of prisoners started cheering and whooping at the sight of him. Many of these men had been put there by Henry himself back in the day—first as a Shock Trooper, then later with Recon. But Henry showed no fear or concern. He was placed in a cell with an ex-Tribunus known only as Maximus. . . Not even a full day had passed before Maximus made a move on Henry in the showers, sneering, “Now look who’s captured.” Hours later, guards found Maximus’s body. None of the prisoners said a word—only muttering, “He must’ve slipped on the soap.” At chow time, another inmate approached. “Hey, Butterfingers, you’re pretty famous, right? Hehehe. Hey, you know what? I’m pretty famous too. Want an autograph? What do you say, big boy?” he said, attempting to shank the mutant. Henry let the puny glass shard pierce him, then slowly turned and delivered a devastating backhand that snapped the man’s neck. He then faced the rest of the room. “None of you seem to understand,” Henry growled. “I’m not locked in here with you… YOU’RE LOCKED IN HERE WITH ME!” MPs and Shock Troopers stormed the room, subduing Henry and beating back the chaos before dragging him off to solitary.   32. not gonna +1 or -1 but i think PF has a place but i do think PF act in such a way currently that all they do is frustrate old players or discourage new players from playing i think PF either needs a big change either with their kidnap weapons or what they do with their victims now while a PF will just tell you don't be a victim that is kinda hard when they can just traq you from a long distance and have mes. but for my suggestion i think kidnapping rules in general need to be changed maybe make slavery a PK reason( i know PF barely care about PKs but maybe some will care) and maybe make a ingame system that blocks people who have been enslaved within the no kidnapping time and based off level or playtime but idk if that is possible at all but i am just saying ideas. TLDR: PF shouldn't be locked but it needs some changes with their gear or their RP plus kidnapping rules need to be changed so it isn't getting kidnapped RP instead of fallout RP

  34. +1 toaster is a pillar of the community and i personally think he should be unbanned for the following reasons 1. Temporary Impairment Due to Medication My friend’s behavior was influenced by prescribed painkillers following a serious injury. This is not an excuse, but it offers important context. His actions were out of character and caused by temporary impairment, not malicious intent. 2. Accountability and Understanding He fully acknowledges that drug usage doesn't justify his actions and accepts the consequences, especially being removed from staff. This shows maturity and a willingness to take responsibility rather than deflect blame. 3. Genuine Effort to Improve He’s already making an effort to communicate openly and honestly while still recovering. He wrote the appeal while under medication, showing his sincerity and urgency to make things right. That kind of initiative suggests he's serious about rejoining the community in good faith.

PA faction is gimmick, merchant faction is gimmick, sniper faction is gimmick, melee faction is gimmick (etc, etc) Anything is technically a "gimmick" but if you want to say that being powerful in other ways means nothing and should allow you to be the traditional standard of PVP power for factions that have nothing else, you are wrong. If I have the best access to chems on the market (so lets use Khans as an example) I should not then also have the same standard of PVP gear as everyone else because I am a pseudo merchant. I have OTHER ABILITIES. You either dedicate to being a PVP faction, statted for PVP, or you dedicate to some other gimmick. PF are the kidnapping faction. They still have a strong vendor for pvp despite it. Then people want to argue to make it better?

  38. Roadkill owns and pays for the server. He owns it. He is not someone who directly runs it as a "MANAGER" because he doesn't care to. The server can and should be run as a council. No direct 1 person in control. Everything streamlined by 5 people as a group effort. Each person should serve a role, 1 person who can dev, 1 person who can look at research, 1 person who can take qol ideas, etc. Then they all come together and vote on bigger things like balance patches, rule changes, bigger projects, etc. There shouldn't be a single person that can streamline their own major suggestions because they want the server in their image. It has never worked and will never work.

Any faction that locks shouldn’t be able to let their members leave the faction with that faction’s gear into other factions. That’s plain retarded. When Survivalists locked, the only thing they took with them were helmets. You don’t see Sigs out in the wasteland, especially not in other factions. How or why does this benefit the server? We talked a bit and I sort of made a character based off our conversations that I felt would be a fun addition to the group he wanted to build. Where do you want to go in Khan's?: I'll like to be primarily a combat based character. But more Meta-Wise perhaps a rebellious character with a free spirit, antagonist attitude, chip on his shoulder and foul mouth. It would simply be a clause or a staff ruling to be updated to where Scum Mugging would be under the first rule of Gameplay rules which is, "Exploiting the game system is strictly prohibited.". How or why does this benefit the server? This would benefit the server because it would not allow people to play around the preventative systems in place that are meant to stop people from simply going over a certain limit or leaving people with less than 3.5k alone. These tactics are mainly used by the "evil" factions of the server who only mug/enslave and only punish people who are either new or play good oriented characters. In general, bypassing these systems that were put in place already and are also under the Mugging Limit Rules should show that this already shouldn't have been allowed (Looking at you Apex).
